In this video I unbox and give my initial impressions of the Shure SE-115 headphones that I just purchased for my iPod Nano. Check back in a few days and there will be an in depth review video of the headphones.
I went to my local Apple Store today to get a new set of headphones for my iPod, because the Apple earbuds that I had died. I ended up with the Shure SE-115 ear buds on a recommendation from one of my friends, and I have to say, so far they are great headphones. The cost 100 US dollars, and for that you get the earbuds, a 3 foot extender cable, 6 sets of end pieces for the earbuds, as well as the headphones themselves. They have great sound quality and come with instructions on how to place them in your ear to get better bass or otherwise. I tried the foam earpieces that came on the ear buds, but for some reason I really did not like how they felt in my ears so I ended up changing over to the rubberized pieces that also came with it, and they feel so much better and seem to provide better sound, although it could just be me. I am going to keep them with for the next few days and use them exclusively on my iPod, as well as in my room when I need a pair of headphones for video editing. This should give me a good idea of how they are to live with. I will then get back to you both in a blog post and a video that you should expect to see up sometime next week, even though I go back to school then.
Hey guys, just getting a chance to get back to my computer to actually do some work after the Christmas Holiday and I have got a few videos that I am going to have to record today so that I will be able to release them over the next few days. I received a Logitech diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard, as well as a MagicMouse and a new tripod for my camera in the tech department. I am also about to leave right now to go to my local Apple Store and I will be more than likely purchasing the Apple In Ear Headphones or something similar. This will provide for an unboxing video when I get home, and that will more than likely be the first video that I post today. Then look out for a first impressions video tomorrow morning, probably sometime before 10am EST. Well, that’s about all I can say about the videos without completely giving them away, so be sure to go over and subscribe to my YouTube channel to receive all of my content on a regular basis!
I just published a new video to YouTube, this time it is a review of the Griffin iTrip for iPod and iPhone. It works like a charm, and I give it a great review. Be sure to watch the video in HD, and don’t forget to subscribe!
I have recently decided that I have seen enough tweets in my Twitter stream about the Lockerz service without me going and trying it out. At first I thought that it was just another one of those scams where they are just trying to gain publicity on people’s Twitter pages, but I have since changed my mind. I have actually seen a few people actually receive what they asked for from Lockerz. So this means that I have about 20 invites to give out. Send me an email through the contact page on the site and be sure to include an email for me to send the invite to. I have been keeping up with my page for a while, and will be doing a video on how to get points on Lockerz on my YouTube channel soon.
Welcome to what I am calling version two of my blog. I have tried a few times to relaunch the blog, as I have had the domain for over three years. I have never seemed to actually keep it up, as my last post on this site was in February, so it has been the better part of a year since I have posted. I am relaunching the site through the WordPress blogging platform, so I will be able to update it from school when I have down time, and this will make it easier to keep the blog up to date. I am going to try to do some reviews on this site, as they are easier to do than video reviews, but I will also more than likely have a video up on the same or a similar topic within the next day or so of the post. I am also going to be posting all of my new YouTube videos to this blog, that way you have one place to go to get all of my content (even though I still want you to subscribe to the channel on YouTube)!!!
I am going to steal an idea from Don McAllister (@donmcallister) where as he got his blogging back off the ground by posting something to his blog every single day for an entire month. By doing this, I will get myself in the routine of posting something every day.
I will also be taking advice on how to make the blog become a more powerful tool for finding information once I begin accumulating posts. This includes things such as integrated search and everyone’s preferences on categories, among others. Let me know what you think of the new blog so far, and I’ll be posting again tomorrow! Oh, by the way, most of my posts will more than likely come early in the morning east coast time, because it seems that this is when I have the most time to do anything, right before I have to leave for school.
